Title: Slave Girl
Character Cassandra Sterling/Paul Golden
Prompt: Costumes (B1)
Word Count: 205
Rating: PG
Content Notes/Warnings: Silver and Gold verse

When Cass arrived at the university studio to be an artist model, she found a box with a note on top of it. She read the note and opened the box. Inside was a costume for her to wear.

“Damn it!” Cass laid the lid on the floor. “Why did it have to be this? I’m going to kill Paul.”

She lifted the skimpy costume out of the box. She looked down at the headdress still in the box. The Egyptian slave girl costume would barely cover the things that needed to be covered. She may as well be modeling naked.

Paul popped into the doorway and grinned. “Silver! You found it I see. I thought of you when I saw it in the drama department closet.”

“Is this some kinda joke? I may as well be naked.” Cass held up the costume and glared at him.

“I would never joke about art. Never!” He laughed. “I'll make sure the heater is on. You're going to be gorgeous!”

“I'm going to freeze.” Cass called out as he left her to change. She sighed. “It's a good thing I love you.”

Twenty minutes later Cass was holding still as the class sketched and painted her image.

Title: Ambushed
Character: Dana Heart
Prompt: Birthdays (N1)
Word Count: 228
Rating: PG
Content Notes/Warnings:

Dana glared at the date on her phone. It was her birthday. Normally, it didn't bother her but this year she was turning thirty five.

Thirty five!

Dana sighed. She picked up her keys and bag and headed out the door. She had to get to work. It was going to be a day like any other.

Another boring day!

When she arrived at work, there was a large vase of flowers and several small boxes waiting for her on her desk.

Dana looked around. No one would make eye contact with her. She sat her bag down and picked up one of the small boxes.

“So do you all know it’s my birthday.” Dana glared at them all. “How did you find out?”

One of her coworkers, a woman in a plain gray dress, handed her a memo.

“It was sent around last week.” She told Dana. “Just enjoy yourself. We're having cake in the breakroom this afternoon.”

Dana sighed. “Thanks Peggy. You all didn't need to do anything. Really you didn't.”

“Dana we know you don't like attention but we are all looking forward to the cake.” Peggy shrugged. “Happy birthday!”

“Please tell me its chocolate.” Dana sighed.

“Of course it is. Chocolate with chocolate icing.” Peggy laughed. “We made sure.”

Dana sat down at her desk. “As least, that's something to look forward to today.”

Gail let herself into Cass apartment. “Tell me what he did.” She sighed and shut the door.

“He didn't do anything. He was just being himself.” Cass started pouring things in a bowl. “I have no idea what I was thinking. Why would I ever want to get back together with him?”

“You never think when it comes to Paul.” Gail came over and sat down at the kitchen bar. “You two are silver and gold. The couple everyone would die to be like.”

“Die like Romeo and Juliet you mean.” Cass started stirring what was in the bowl.

“What are you making?” Gail eyed the contents of the bowl. “Are those chocolate chips?”

“I’m making cookies.” Cass slammed the mixing bowl down. “I need to do something to keep me from killing him.”

Gail laughed. “You know you're going to forgive him. You always do.”

Cass started putting lumps of dough on a sheet pan. “I don’t always forgive him.” She waved the spoon at Gail. “There was that one time he made me so mad I broke up with him.”

“For a week.” Gail snitched a blob of dough and took a bite. “You wailed and made everyone miserable. Paul finally groveled enough to get you to take him back. We were all so relieved.” She reached for another blob of dough and Cass smacked her hand with the spoon.

“Hey!” Gail rubbed her hand. “Why are you making chocolate chip cookies anyway? Isn't that Paul's favorite?”

“Yes.” Cass sighed. “I maybe need to say I’m sorry. I called him an untalented paint by number wanna be.”

Gail laughed so hard she nearly fell off the stool. “You called him what?”

“Don’t make me repeat it.” Cass put the first batch in the oven. “You would have thought i stabbed him in the heart.”

“You stabbed him in the ego. That’s worse.” Gail laughed. “You know how big that is.”

Cass glared at her friend. “Not helping.”

Gail laughed. “You better make two batches and show up naked under a trench coat to make up for that.”

Cass sighed. “I don’t have enough stuff for a second batch.”

There was a knock at the door. Gail got up to answer it. When she opened the door she laughed.

Paul walked in carrying a bottle of wine. “So she told you, did she?”

Gail laughed. “Oh yeah! Cass, I think I’m gonna go. Good luck.”

Cass frowned when Gail practically flew out the door.

Paul sat the bottle of wine on the kitchen bar. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you mad.”

Cass reached out and grabbed his hand. “I shouldn’t have called you a…”

“Untalented paint by number wanna be?” Paul laughed and leaned over to kiss her. “I love you too much to stay mad at you, Silver.” He kissed her.

“Good. I made cookies! Chocolate chip! Your favorite.” Cass scooped some dough out of the bowl and fed it to him.

He licked her finger and grinned. “Cookies and wine in bed?”

Cass nodded.

Title: Closets
Character: Shelly Hastings
Prompt: Trapped (I1)
Word Count: 373
Rating: PG-13
Content Notes/Warnings: Nudity and sex, cursing

Shelly was dressed in all black with a knit cap over her bleached blond hair. She had let herself into the hotel room of her client’s husband with a pass card she had lifted out of a bellman’s pocket. She was looking for signs of a woman in the room.

She had just opened the closet when she heard someone jiggle the handle of the door. She ducked inside and closed the door. She looked through the slats in the louver door.

The man, who Shelly recognized as her client’s husband, came in and threw his coat on the chair. “Darling, why don't you open the bottle of wine? I need to make a call.”

A full busted brunette sat down on the bed and pulled off her heels.

“Honey, I've just got in.” The man said out of Shelly’s line of sight. “I'm going to take a shower and go to bed. ….. Love you too! I'll be home tomorrow afternoon. See you then.”

The woman striped down to her panties and walked off to get glasses for the wine.

The man walked back into sight and started to strip.

Shelly wrinkled her nose when she saw his big flabby belly.

The woman came back and handed him a hotel glass full of wine. So the old ball and chain is handled. “Gawd! How do you stand it? She's so fucking annoying.”

“If she ever finds out about us, she’ll take me to the cleaners.” The man downed the wine. “Come here, you!

The woman laughed then bounced on the bed. “You come to me. You know you want to bang me.”

He laughed. “That was my goal.” He got on the bed and stripped off her panties and threw them behind him. “Open wide!”

“Oh you want that do you?” She giggles and pushed him down and started giving him oral sex.

Shelly covered her eyes and took a deep breath. This was going to be a long night.

She wasn't wrong. After they had finished having sex they drank the rest of the wine and went to sleep.

Shelly quietly came out of the closet and slipped out the door. She was going to bill her client extra for sure.

Title: Fluffy Happy Clouds
Character: Cassandra Sterling/Paul Golden
Prompt: Cloud Watching (O1)
Word Count: 218
Rating: PG
Content Notes/Warnings: Silver and Gold verse.

It was a warm after afternoon in the city park. Most people were still at work so it was quiet and nearly deserted.

“Why are we here?” Cass sat up on the blanket she and Paul were laying on.

“We are here because it's the best place to study clouds.” Paul pulled her back down. “There's nothing to block the view.”

“Why are we studying clouds?” Cass rolled on her side and played with his collar.

“You can't paint anything without knowing how it moves in its natural environment. Animals. Clouds. Rainstorms. Snow.” Paul gestured at the clouds. “They all have movement. Flow.”

“Have you been watching Bob Ross again?” Cass bit her lip. She knew that would get his attention.

“Silver! I would never….”  Paul stopped and grimaced as he turned on his side to face her. “So what if I did. Bob Ross may be crazy but he's a good painter.”

“Uh huh.” Cass nodded. “He's your hero, isn't he?”

Paul rolled his eyes. “I said good not great.”

Cass laughed. “Next thing you know, you'll be painting happy little trees.”

Pauld glared at her. “Everyone knows trees aren't happy. They are regal and elegant.”

Cass burst out laughing. She rolled onto her back. “You are so full of….”

Paul kissed her to shut her up.
