Rainy Days and Mondays #7
May. 26th, 2015 10:23 am#7. I'm calling you out for calling in sick, you coward!
Max got back to the city and moved out of the apartment. He paid the rent in advance for three months and didn’t leave a forwarding address.
Max had been offered an opportunity to head a new office in another city. he spoke to his boss and took the position. He was gone before Jackie got back from the resort.
Jackie came home to find Max gone. She got angry. She wanted to work through their problems but he was too much of a coward to do it.
Jackie contacted his work thinking she could find him. She was informed that Max was no longer working there. She asked if they knew where he had went but they refused to tell her where he was working now.
Jackie had them send a message to Max to get in contact with her. They agreed but she had a feeling that she wouldn’t get an answer.
Max got her message later that same day. He read it over and over again. He could tell that she was angry and he knew she should be. He was a coward just as she said. He didn’t want to face what he had done. He had betrayed her more than once.
