Aura stood listening in the middle of the bridge at Black Diamond Ferry. In the distance she could hear birds singing. It was coming from the small island in the middle of the River of Elk where the Tree of Life stood.
She saw the leaves dancing on the large tree almost in response to the bird’s singing. She smiled. It was a good omen. It meant that there would be new life on Ogham-Duir soon.
Aura racked her brain to think of who could be having a baby. She couldn’t think of anyone. Could it be her and Dragas?
