Aura walked through the forest. She was on her way to Brimstone and the path along the river was too hot to walk. The forest was cool and damp from the shade.
As she walked, she was mesmerized by the patterns that the leaves made with shade and light. It almost looked like water glittering in the sunlight. Every time the wind blew the patterns of dark and light changed.
Before long, she was out of the shady forest and walking onto the hot cobbled streets of Brimstone. She really wished they would plant some trees for some cool shade.
