Today tell us a little about your writing style, whether it's first person, third person objective, third person limited, or third person omniscient, past or present tense, talk about it with us.
I suppose I write mostly in third person. I’m not sure which kind after that. I use past tense on most things as well. I have no idea why I started writing this way. I’ve never really thought about it. It’s just the way it comes out of my head. I hear it and my fingers just type. It’s all very …. Strange.
Why do you prefer your choice?
I would not call it a preference so much as a habit. I started writing very young and this may be the way I was taught. I really don’t remember. I do try other things on occasion.
Do you ever try writing in a different point of view or tense to mix things up?
I have and will continue to do a bit of first person in the present tense. If a story seems to need to be told in a different way, then I try to do it the way it should be.
Would you never write in a certain point of view or tense?
I would not want to limit my creatively and so if the story needs it, it will have it.
