Final Thoughts on NANOWRIMO
Final word count: 18,875
As you can see from the word count I have failed this year to even come close to the word count goal for this year. I just didn't seem to have it in me. I didn't even come close to halfway.
I could blame my failure on my depression or a lack of motivation. Either would be valid. I could but i'm not in the habit of blaming or excusing my failures on anything or anyone.
I wanted to succeed but after spending most of the year focused on things that pulled me away from writing i should have expected it. I've been gaming and dealing with personal issues both are time consuming.
I need to get back on track with my writing because i have so many projects to finish and prompts to fill. I was hoping to get more of them done this month but i did manage to finish some things.
This month has shown me that i need to focus on my writing and reaching a daily goal again. It may not be a thousand words a day but it needs to be at least a hundred words every day.
I will look forward to next year and seeing the winner ribbon again on my profile.
Finished this month:
Camelot Drabble: #287 #288 #289
Olicity Hiatus Fic a Thon: #4, #5 #6, #7, #10, #16, #18
GYWO Stop Challenges: 3
