1. Desert [Lady Starr (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-14 01:41 pm (UTC)Lady Starr didn’t believe the rumors. She wanted to see for herself. That was why she risked being captured in the realm that was once her home.
She had come by way of a portal with the Princess Endora. It wasn’t safe for a creature of magick. They were hunted now so she left the Princess in a safe place to see she could find all that was left in her home.
2. Blueberry [Princess Endora, Lady Aura (FFQP, OD)]
on 2013-07-14 01:45 pm (UTC)“What are those?” Endora pointed to the dish.
“Blueberries. They are fruit. Dragas got them at the market. They are from the lands to the north. Try one.” Aura pushed the dish over to her.
Endora picked it up and smelled it. She took a tentative bite. Then made a face. “How odd! They actually taste blue.”
“I know. Isn’t it strange?” Aura said. “Dragas thought I was teasing him.”
“They turn you blue as well.” Endora looked at her fingers.
3. Starfish [Lady Aura, Prince Dragas, Myrdren (a.k.a. Puff) (OD)]

“What have you, Puff?” Dragas asked.
Puff dropped the squirming thing and wagged his tail.
“It’s a starfish.” Aura said.
“I wonder what it’s doing this far west.” Dragas said.
“It was the storms last week. The tides were higher than normal. Mermaid beach always seems to get the brunt of it.”
Dragas looked out over the water. “Things are changing. Soon we will not be safe here anymore.”
4. Lush [Dionne Draconis. Sidhe Guardian Noah (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-14 01:53 pm (UTC)She knelt down to pick some of the purple flowers and someone gave her a shove. She fell face first into the flowers.
She turned over and looked at the culprit. It was the Sidhe guardian, a dog named Noah. He was grinning and wagging his tail at her.
"You’re a silly pup." She giggled and pulled him in too.
5. Work [Lady Aura (OD)]
on 2013-07-14 01:57 pm (UTC)She set a pot on the stove to heat water for potions. She let her gaze wonder for just a moment at the beautiful summer day.
It was hard to work on potions when all you wanted to do was go out in the warm sunshine. She longed to transform and stretch her dragon wings. She could feel the warmth on her scales already.
She looked at the pile of requests on the table. She had no choice but to work.
6. Mother [Lady Aura (OD)]
on 2013-07-14 02:47 pm (UTC)Things had always been difficult between them but now she would be just a across the forest from her. Her mother was staying at the Draconis Estate. That was her father’s idea.
They still loved each other even though her mother had left him alone with a little girl and another daughter missing. Aura was sure that she could be so forgiving.
7. Fly [Lady Aura (OD)]
on 2013-07-14 02:48 pm (UTC)She shook out her wings and took off. She didn’t know where she was going to go but it just felt good to be able to fly. She missed it. She couldn’t do it as often as she liked.
The rush of the wind whistled in her scales as she climbed higher into the sky. She could feel the air currents underneath her. she soared into the air even higher.
It was natural for a dragon to fly.
8. Hazard [Prince Dragas, Lady Aura (OD)]
on 2013-07-14 03:07 pm (UTC)He frowned that would have to be fixed. It was a hazard. Someone may get hurt if it was loosened more.
With two dragons there was a good chance that would happen. Puff and Argonne were not exactly light. Most elemental dragons weren’t.
Dragas got the toolbox and started to fix the step.
Aura came out on the porch. "What are you doing?"
"I’m fixing the step. It’s a hazard."
"Oh." Aura made a face.
9. Basket [Lady Victra (OD)]
on 2013-07-14 03:11 pm (UTC)Victra had been out picking herbs with Aura and Aura’s basket was falling apart. Aura hadn’t gotten a new one in some time and it even looked like Puff had squished it at least once. He tended to sit on things.
She finally stopped and looked at it and sighed. It was a little lopsided. Basket making was never one of her strong skills.
10. Strawberry [Prince Dragas, Lady Aura (OD)]
on 2013-07-14 04:07 pm (UTC)“Did you find everything?” Aura asked as she came from the other room.
“Yes. I got everything on the list.” Dragas said.
“What are these?” Aura held up a container of red fruit.
“Strawberries. They were on the list.” Dragas was confused.
“I put starrberries on the list not strawberries.” Aura said. She bit into one. “They are fine. I was just going to make a fruit salad. Did you get a moon melon?”
“I forgot it.”
11. Ocean [Princess Endora, Prince Paddrick (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-14 04:11 pm (UTC)“Still see what?” Paddrick asked as he picked up a shell and handed it to her.
“Atlantis.” Endora looked at the shell and kissed him on the cheek. She put it in her bag. “That was a pretty one.”
Paddrick chuckled. “You just wanted to kiss me.”
“Maybe.” Endora said. “We felt the earthquakes before the explosion. The ocean seems so empty now with it gone.”
“Did you know anyone there?” Paddrick asked as he followed her gaze.
“Too many to count.”
12. Climb [Grim Ranger (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-14 05:11 pm (UTC)Just the sight of land alone was worth the climb up the swinging rope ladder. There were parts of sailing a ship Grim just didn’t like.
He would weigh anchor as soon as they reached the cove. It was a safer place to be than the last port. Ships had left the Old World to get the gold in the new one.
13. Sibling [Princess Endora (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-14 05:38 pm (UTC)Endora’s sisters lived in Una. They were only part faerie. They all had the same mother. Her sisters’ father was a Draconian. He could turn into a dragon.
Aura could turn into a dragon too but Victra couldn’t. Aura was trained to be a High Priestess.
Victra had more faerie powers and she had been trained by the Druids.
It was a rare treat for all of them to be together. Endora thought they should try to meet more often.
14. Island [Lady Aura, Lady Victra (OD)]
on 2013-07-21 05:55 pm (UTC)Lady Aura along with Lady Victra, the Druids and the mundane Priests held a service for the dead. Everyone in the five realms took time out of there day to light candles or send messages to loved ones on paper boats out into the still churning sea.
It was amazing that the loss of one small island could have such a devastating effect on so many lives.
15. School [Lady Starr, Kyo Starr (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-21 06:17 pm (UTC)Lady Starr turned to her son before taking him inside. “Do you remember what I said, Kyo?”
Kyo looked up with a serious face and recited what she had told him. “Don’t eat any one and don’t start any fires. Oh and listen to the teacher.”
Lady Starr smiled. “Right! I will be here to pick you up.”
Her eyes misted as they went inside. Her little boy was growing up.
16. Breeze [Dionne Draconis (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-21 06:41 pm (UTC)She was out picking flowers in the field beside the castle. She had been stuck inside doing chores all morning and it felt good to be outside.
She tossed her gold curls and spun around until she rose up off her feet. A breeze and sunshine were her two favorite things.
She sighed and picked up her basket of flowers. She still had some things to do but she was happy with a little breeze.
17. Season [Princess Endora (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-21 07:13 pm (UTC)Endora looked down at her white tunic and breeches and sighed. She wanted to be as colorful as the season.
The next day at Court, Endora came in wearing a yellow tunic with pink flowers on it. It was bright and it felt like summer.
Endora thought her grandmother, the Queen, was going to faint when she saw such a colorful top. Faeries were only supposed to wear pure white.
18. Lost [Dulcina Thottie, Dionne Draconis (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-21 07:15 pm (UTC)“Dulcina! Just admit it. We are lost.” Dionne said. “You said that you knew how to get to the berry patch.”
“I do.” Dulcina said. She pointed to a clump of trees. “It’s just over there.”
“We just came from there and we passed that rock twice.” Dionne said. “I’m getting my crystal out and going home.”
“Not yet.” Ducina said. “I know where I am.”
“Where?” Dionne gave her an impatient look.
Dulcina looked around. “I’m lost.”
19. Float [Myrdren (Puff), Sprite, Splash (OD)]
on 2013-07-21 07:58 pm (UTC)The water was warm and the sun was bright. Puff thought he could just float there forever.
Suddenly a splash hit him in the face and then someone dunked him. His head popped out of the water and he saw Sprite and Splash bobbing in the water close to him.
Puff snorted. He knew better than to be floating peacefully when the water dragons wanted to play.
20. Shade [Lady Aura (OD)]
on 2013-07-21 08:13 pm (UTC)As she walked, she was mesmerized by the patterns that the leaves made with shade and light. It almost looked like water glittering in the sunlight. Every time the wind blew the patterns of dark and light changed.
Before long, she was out of the shady forest and walking onto the hot cobbled streets of Brimstone. She really wished they would plant some trees for some cool shade.
21. Hike [Prince Paddrick (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-21 08:14 pm (UTC)The view from the rock he had chosen to hike to was glorious. He could see almost all the way to Zestra.
He took out his colored pencils and went to work. Before long he had a beautiful sketch of the countryside.
He looked at his artwork and knew just who to give it to.
He had it framed in Crystal Spires and presented it to Queen Taralen at court the next day.
22. Fireflies [Princess Endora Prince Paddrick (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-21 08:18 pm (UTC)“Paddrick, come with me. I have something to show you.” Endora said.
“What is it?” Paddrick was puzzled.
“You will know in just a few moments.” Endora smiled. She dragged him along to the top of the tower overlooking the meadow.
Paddrick gasped for breath. “What are we doing up here?”
“Just wait!” Endora told him. “Look there.”
Little lights twinkled here and there among the meadow flowers in the twilight.
“Fireflies!” Endora exclaimed. “Aren’t they beautiful?”
“Not as beautiful as you.” Paddrick said.
23. Ice Cream [Gen (FFQP,OD)]
on 2013-07-21 08:20 pm (UTC)The most popular food vender was the ice cream cart. Ice cream was a real treat on a hot day. The cart sold out every day.
It didn’t matter if you were a dragon, faerie, demon, magickal being or a mundane, a scoop of starrberry or moon melon ice cream was just what made the Faerie Festival great fun.
24. Freedom [Princess Endora (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-21 08:22 pm (UTC)She traveled to many lands and realms. She went on quests with her friends and fought for what was right.
Endora was not the kind of princess that wore frilly dresses and talked of hairstyles and gossip. She enjoyed the freedom of breeches and training with her weapons.
Endora was meant to be a Warrior Princess. She believed in freedom for everyone.
25. Race [Princess Endora, Sugarplum (horse) (FFQP)]
on 2013-07-28 11:54 am (UTC)Sugarplum was built for speed. She was sleek and strong. She was much different from Endora’s unicorn, Astra. Astra was short and stocky built for endurance in battle not speed.
There was something about the horse that made Endora want to race up and down the roads of the Realm. She would have never gone this fast on the unicorn.
Racing around the Realm felt like flying while staying on the ground.
