Try as she might she had difficulty living in the here and now. She was haunted by memories and her own failings constantly.
Now she was a modern woman but once she was a lady of Court. Now she struggled to keep her hearth and home but once she had lived in a grand mansion.
Why was the past so cruel as to follow her into the heare and now?
She just wanted to live for the moment but it was impossible. If she couldn’t live in the now and dying was not an option, she was stuck in limbo.
