Splash poked at the funny looking creature with his claw. It backed up and raised its pincers.
Splash looked at it for a minute then bent down to sniff it. The funny looking thing pinched him on the nose and Splash yelped.
Splash stuck his tongue out at the mean little thing and it grabbed it with its pincer. He ran down the beach to where Puff was piling seashells and bounced up and down whining.
Puff shook his head and sighed. He very carefully pulled the crab off Splash’s tongue.
Splash learned not to stick his tongue out anymore.
