I really liked the dialogue in this episode. Especially the first scene, as the interaction seemed very natural and made me feel like I already knew these new characters.
Nice backstory on Trystana and the Exaltanese. Is it weird that this kinda reminds me of Sailor Moon or Flash Gordon, lol? In a very good way :-) I wish I could come up with chapters like this. I get so bogged down in description and navel gazing that I can't get the action going :-/ You do an excellent job at keeping the plot moving, while keeping enough description to not make it feel like talking heads.
Loved that Rix shifted into a hummingbird!
I look forward to learning more about Tona's marriage. Was that...something from Wincet, there?
