“Victra you go by yourself.” Lady Aura mused as she thought out loud. “I will take Dragas with me. Endora, do you think you can manage Klaus?”

“Yes. I can do it easily. That means Dionne goes by herself.” Princess Endora said as she looked at Dionne.

Dionne nodded.

Lady Aura nodded. “That sounds like a good plan. Does anyone have any questions before we go?”

Everyone shakes their head.

“I have a question. Why don’t you just open a portal with a faerie crystal?” A voice said near them.

They all turn to look at who was speaking to them.

“Paddrick!” Princess Endora smiled at him.

“Hi Endora.” Prince Paddrick smiled back.

“You will come with us, won’t you?” Princess Endora asked.

“I don’t want to intrude.” Prince Paddrick looked at the people at the table.

“You wouldn’t be.” Lady Aura said. “We would love it if you joined us. It will give us a chance to get to know you, Paddrick. You will family soon enough.”

“Aura, the betrothal contract hasn’t been signed yet.” Endora gave her sister a warning look.

“Was the Queen unable find quill and ink?” Prince Dragas teased.

He and Klaus started laughing. Paddrick got the joke and smiled.

“Dragas!” Lady Aura kicked her husband under the table.

“Ow!” Prince Dragas winced.

“Let’s get going.” Lady Aura said as she headed to retrieve her cloak.

Everyone wrapped up in their cloaks and went out behind the tavern. Princess Endora used her faerie crystal to open a portal to the throne room of the crystal fortress.
