 SNOW!

“Oh for goodness sake, Dionne. It’s just snow.” Princess Endora said.

“Yes but it’s coming down awfully hard all of a sudden.” Dionne said.

“That is because of the way the weather goes through the mountain pass here on Ogham-Duir.” Klaus said. He looked up from his cider and noticed the blank faces staring at him. “You mean to tell me that you have never noticed the way the weather comes through the mountains.”

“Well yes but I think we are a bit surprised by the snow.” Lady Aura said. “I didn’t think it was coming for another day, maybe two.”

“I’ve been smelling it for days.” Klaus said. “I’m a woodsman. We do those things.”

Lady Victra patted his hand. “Klaus, don’t you have a sleigh around here somewhere we can use to get home.”

“Excuse me but we are magical creatures we can teleport and shimmer where we need to go.” Princess Endora said.

“Well not all of us. Klaus and I can’t teleport.” Prince Dragas reminded her.

“Then how do we get to Crystal Fortress?” Dionne asked as she looked at the snow falling heavily out the window.

Everyone turned to look out the window at the heavily falling snow.

“I think we can do it but it will take some doing.” Lady Aura said.
