Summary: Short description of Insecta Fae
Insecta Fae
The Insecta Fae is a lowland race of faerie. In order to survive they have developed characteristics of various insects and spiders. The most prominent are dragonflies, butterflies and ladybugs.
Unlike the Tuathe De Danaan, Twylth Teg and the Peria, they are a genetically diverse race with a wide range of hair and eye color. They frequently interbreed carrying on the genetic traits of the original insects.
There is no formal court of the Insecta Fae. They tend to be nomadic and will often serve the higher races. Therefore all Insecta Fae have silver magic. They do have their own language called ‘insecti’ that allows them to communicate with insects.
Many Insecta Fae are dark faeries or mischief makers, which make them outcasts in the general faerie society.
