Red Bird
The sun rose over the mountain covered with a neve. The sun glittered like diamonds on the surface until the light glared through the valley.
The pine trees swayed in the algid breeze. The red bird clung to a short branch deep in the center of the tree. It was sheltered for now from the frore winds and the threat of more snow.
Soon spring will come and warm the breeze and start to melt the mountain but until them the red bird must shelter itself the best way it knows how.
