There is nothing worse than a cold and Dana had one. It had lasted over a week and she was sick and tired of being sick and tired.

All Dana could keep down for the past few days were tea and toast.

She had never had a cold like this one before. Several of her friends had already gotten over this nasty cold but she seemed to have it worse than anyone.

As Dana stood in the kitchen waiting on the toaster and the microwave, she wondered if she would ever look at a slice of toast again without thinking of sandpaper and snot. She really doubted it.
