50. Barefoot [Princess Endora, Queen Taralen (FFQP)]

Endora padded down the castle steps barefoot. It was a cool night and she just wanted to go the sacred well to fill the pitcher for the scrying bowl.

She walked across the courtyard to the well and drew water then went inside to the tower.

The Queen was looking in the basin and didn’t hear Endora come in. She jumped when Endora put the pitcher on the stand.

“Sorry Grandmother.” Endora said.

“I didn’t hear you coming.” Queen Taralen smiled.

“I’m barefoot. It’s too nice for boots tonight.”

The Queen lifted up her skirt to show her bare feet.
