The Girl With The Axe
No one would believe it unless they saw it. She was a little girl with a grownup’s axe. She chopped and shredded the notes like she had been doing it for longer than her short life. Some people call that an old soul. She wouldn't agree.
It wasn't her soul that made her play the way she did. It was her heart. She had a heart filled with music. It’s a rare gift for one so young.
Many never heard the music of their heart. Not everyone knew how to listen to the subtle tones within the beating of their heart. But she knew how to listen and how to send the music to your very soul.
